The Baton Rouge General Health Center opened in 1994 as a sister hospital to the Baton Rouge General Medical Center. At present, radiologic services include routine x-ray and fluoroscopy, mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, helical CT, high field strength MRI, and many radiologic guided interventional procedures. The Health Center also has an emergency room and offers South Baton Rouge 24 hour emergency care.
